Data display pages

Testforms main window has six tabbed pages, one for requesting and the other five for data display.
Pages are selected by clicking the tabs at the bottom of he window.
The default page on patient change is specified for the workstation in Menu | Worksation setup | Workstation options.( See Default page )

The pages may take a few seconds to refresh (depending upton the amount of data and computer speed)
Therefore, in order to minimise operational delay:
Note that if you switch to Synergy, record some data and then switch back to Testforms, the Testforms displays are rewritten. This is done because you might have changed some data in Synergy which you then want to display in Testforms, eg: for a Framingham calculation. (Testforms does this by monitoring Synergy's NewEntryAdded events)
The Testforms displays are not rewritten if you simply edit an existing entry.

The five data display pages have a Requesting button which returns you to the requesting page.

Note that Testforms is supplied as 30 day free trial. After the trial period expires you can still use the data display facilities but you have to register Testforms to use the requesting / form printing features and the smear data entry facilities. (The print button becomes inoperative)

Requests / Results page

The display has a movable split with requests at the top and results at the bottom.

The results are displayed as an expandable tree view with the most recent at the top.

The collapsed tree shows results headers: eg: U&E, LFT, FBC.
Expanding the tree reveals the individual test results.

If a result record has 'Yes' or 'Link'  in the 'text' column then double clicking the record will display the text (eg: an MSU result)

The top left buttons fully expand and collapse the results tree.

The position of the splitter bar between requests and results can be moved and the column widths can be changed. These dimensions are automatically saved for the workstation

Immunisation page

This is a two level tree display.
The parent level contains the latest of each immunisation type.
The child level contains the previous doses of the parent immunisation type.

Cervical cytology page

This use a two level tree display where the parent level contains smear results (Read code = 4K2** ) and the child levels contain infection results data (Read code = 4K3**) and action data (Read code = 4K4**)

The receall columns will display recall dates as follows:
  • Result data (4K2**) The recall dates is taken from a Synergy recall entry associated with the result data. These will be red is due according to Synergy's preview and postview settings for the recall.
  • Action data (4K4**). The recall date is simply calculated as the result date + the action interval, eg: 6 months.

Testforms also now offers a fast and easy to use smear data entry facility.
This is only available at present for five byte Read code systems.
It is also only available during the 30 days free trial unless the program is registered.
(On a four byte system, then the List smear taken records checkbox and the Enter result button do not appear).

This lists the patient's BPs, BMIs, smoking, alcohol and excercise records in convenient grid view with latest showing at the top.

Framingham calculation, Family history and Lipid page.

The family history grid is sorted to have display order: CVS (+ diabetes)  -  negative CVS  -  Endocine  -  Other

The Lipid grid is primarily built on Cholesterol records.
HDL cholesterol and Triglyceride records are then added if found within +/- 7 days of the cholesterol record.

The Framingham calculator uses a similar +/- 7 day window to associate an HDL result with the latest cholesterol.
